Many women and men are opting for permanent makeup. There are plenty of pros as well as cons for the procedures. Some of things you can get done with permanent make up are:
- eyeliner
- lash enhancement
- lip liner
- full lip color
- beauty marks
- eye brows
These are great if you want to save some time each day with putting on make up. They are also beneficial for those with unsteady hands, entertainers who sweat a lot, and people allergic to make-up. But one big con I see, is what about when the beauty trends change, as the always do. What do you do then? Now, if you know you will love this look forever and no one can tell you otherwise, go for it. For the rest of us, we may need to stick with doing your make up everyday.
As with all tattoos, they may tend to fade over the years. This will call for some maintenance. You need to make sure to use sunblock on the areas that you have the permanent tattoos. Before making the decision of whether you want this procedure, do as much research as you can.

So many of the before and after’s I’ve seen on the web look awful. Has anyone seen a good permanent makeup job online?
Also, does anyone know if the FDA has plans to approve this since this article says it’s not FDA approved:

Cosmetic Tattooing should only be performed by an accredited specialist. Check for qualifications. It is a good idea to ask to see a portfolio of before and after photos before committing to any procedure. Many will not publish portfolio pictures on the web for the sake of client privacy, but you should be able to view a portfolio at a consultation.
